It’s official. Clean water advisory referendums will be on voters’ ballots in Eau Claire and La Crosse counties in the 2022 spring elections.

Two events in March will highlight ways Wisconsin residents can advocate for clean water protections. Please attend to learn more about why La Crosse and Eau Claire County voters will have a chance to vote YES in an advisory referendum on clean water.

March 15 | Coulee Region Sierra Club Group Meeting

The Coulee Region Sierra Club will host an online program on clean water issues and the move to pass clean water resolutions in many Wisconsin counties at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15. Guests will be Johnson Bridgwater, an organizer with River Alliance of Wisconsin, who has been working on the “Clean Water Now” referendum campaign and Jamie O’Neill who is helping to organize a water symposium at Viterbo University and who serves on the La Crosse County Board.

March 25 | Viturbo Agnes W.H. Tan Science Symposium

Register now for Viturbo University’s Agnes W.H. Tan Science Symposium on Friday, March 25. On the topic of “What’s in our drinking water?” come to La Crosse to hear from experts about where Wisconsinites get their drinking water and the science behind dealing with contamination.
